10 minute writings

I once heard a comment by Stephen King that aspiring writers should try and write 10 minutes (no more, no less) a day. It would help break down writing blocks and force you to not fall into patterns and styles. I haven't been writing for so long and every so often I think about how I should start writing again.

A month ago I followed Shasta's site to a friend of her's, Icarus, who does this 10 minute writing thing. It was a kick in the pants for me. I started writing a week ago but only today started posting them on-line.

The whole point of it isn't to write polished stuff. In fact, I'm not even supposed to spell-check or re-edit, though I do. I just change a few words, though. Anyways, check it out.
