The Fountain of Youth

If you discovered the Fountain of Youth, would you drink from it?

Yes, as long as the change/stasis was only physical.

I don't think so... I think there's something to be said about growing old gracefully.

Now.. if we were talking about a fountain of liposuction.. I might have to partake.

Funny you should ask this. I just finished reading "Tuck Everlasting." All they got was regret from drinking from the fountain.
I am far attached to all of the people in my life. I wouldn't drink, I would miss them too much.
Also, there is a bit of adventure in growing old and seeing how you change.

I think I might.

It all depends on the details, though.

If we're talking FOREVER FOREVER...like I would live despite the earth being destroyed and I'm just floating in space...then, no.

But if I live young and healthy for as long as I want and then die when I want to...then I think I actually would. Could you imagine what it would be like to see history change and--and all the things you could learn and do.

Would the people I love get to drink too?

AND WOULD THE DOGGIES???? Could they lap at the fountain of youth? If anyone needs a fountain of youth it's our furry little four legged friends who live far too short of a life.
