9/11

A while ago I was sent a link to Loose Change, a conspiracy website about the September 11th attacks.

The site has since changed and looks nothing like it did when I first saw it. The most engaging thing was the video (79 min).

I'm not a conspiracy buff but it did make me think.

I have since decided that the conspiracy theory is too preposterous, especially when the reality of it actually makes more sense: that America's foreign policy and the fall of the Soviet Union have left us, precariously, as top dog and a viable target for the world's terrorist organizations. These elements have taken their product international and we are the prime competitor. There is no need for a conspiracy.

That being said, I ran across a pretty good video from Dutch television explaining why the Twin Towers collapsed the way it did. Enjoy.
