Pitiable and yet scary. This role ruined Joaquin Phoenix as an actor for me. He can no longer play a good guy.

The freaky albino Gestapo guy with the lisp.

Kind of like Commodus: you pity Ralph Fiennes and yet you hate him all the more because of it.
